    Wong Zhi Noodle House, plenty of branches all over Wong Zhi Noodle House, plenty of branches all over Klang Valley. Originally from Ipoh, other than portion being KL standard, tastes wise it's at least 8/10 of some Ipoh's best kai si hor fun. They have fat bean sprouts too.     RM68++ weekend lunchset @chezgastonkl, came with a RM68++ weekend lunchset @chezgastonkl, came with a choice of salad or charcuterie plate, main was beef wellington or mussels, with 3rd course being the tiramisu. Since there's 3 adults we added foie gras terrine & beef cheek bourguignon for good measure. The beef wellington was one of the bests I've tried, perfectly juicy tenderloin with pastry and sauce that compliment instead of overwhelm. Both the starter and dessert were "full size" as well. Just the wellington itself already carries higher value than the entire set's asking price. The beef cheek was well cooked and tender, foie gras terrine came with bread that's soaked to the brim with butter, attacking the senses full on. From Yogyakarta, the sambal is a combination of chili, garlic, sugar, and peanuts. It's super spicy despite the look with an extra dimension of earthy, nutty flavor. Parking is definitely easier and while there's no air conditioning, ventilation is pretty good. Taste wise the three stalls don't differ that much foe me to be honest.     Ooi Noodle House at Subang SS15, from the same fam Ooi Noodle House at Subang SS15, from the same family that operates the popular pork noodle stalls at Kean Fatt PJ SS3 & Ah Or Pork Noodle at Sunway Mentari. Soup base is pretty similar across the three stalls, with Ooi a tad better than the other due to the better texture in the pork intestine and slightly more tender pork liver (less cooked). Wait time can be quite epic but the lady would politely tell you almost exactly how long it'll take before you'd be served.
