“Hey U” is the title of a song by Avril Lavigne, who was featured in some of Blink 182′s music videos on youtube (originality questionable). And coincidentally, the U Mobile starter pack I got myself today has a phone number that also ends with 182.
To make things even more auspicious (as Chinese New Year is looming), the 018 number was obtained together with Mellissa, who was born on 8-8-88.
A 018 number that ends with 182 with a girl who was born on 8.8.88. Can’t exactly ask for more can you?

I’m sure by now some of you must have heard about the new cellphone network provider in town, U Mobile, with the tag line that goes “You call the shots!”. Which basically means wantedU Mobile will empower you with choices. You now get to decide what you want and how you want to communicate with your friends and family. You have freedom of choice with U Mobile.
Pretty nice deal for prepaid I’ll say, and they have pretty sweet deals for postpaid customers too with their U38, U68, and U98 plans.
Furthermore, they have their unlimited 3g data package for only RM68 per month! That’s quite a lot cheaper than the other providers. I know, I use it and I am seriously considering switching after I give U Mobile a good test run since we can now switch network while retaining our numbers.

If you too are fedup with your provider and want to give U Mobile a try, there is good news!
Come up with a sensible sms (usual short forms accepted, and limit to 160 characters) with the most number of the letter U used, and three winners will get:
Good deal right? Lets make it happen already! (Shhh, but you can also use the new number for prank calls after winning it)
