When it comes to property website, iProperty.com is no stranger to most anyone who’s spent some time looking for their next house, apartment, or condominium. In fact, it was one most definitely one of my most-used website when we were looking for a new house a few years ago.
To me, the best feature of iProperty has got to be their search by map function, which makes searching for a place so much easier. As they say, real estate is all about location, location, location, right?
Well, other than location, it also helps to know which are the award winning properties, so you get a little extra in terms of recognition and additional selling point for the property you have your eyes on. For this, enter iProperty.com People’s Choice Awards – the most prestigious real estate award for property developers, as voted by home buyers and consumers. In another word, by the public, by us, the most important cog in the wheel of real estate development.
There are 13 award categories this year. They are:
Developer Of The Year
Best Emerging Developer
Best International Developer
Best Township Development
Best Mixed Development
Best Waterfront Development
Best Residential Landed Development
Best Residential High-Rise Development
Best Luxury High-Rise Development
Best Northern Development
Best Southern Development
Best Green Development
Best Value Development

OK, here’s what you have to do if you haven’t read the previous post about Axiata Up Your Game contest that I wrote a little while ago.

Submit it at www.AxiataCup.tv
a chance to win up to RM 5,000 and an exclusive VIP experience to attend the semi-final and finals of Axiata Cup KL.
Here is my submission, what do you think about that? It’s a short video less than 30 seconds of me playing badminton with my favorite player of all time – myself!
Contest starts from 8 February with submission closing by the 25th of March 2013. It is certainly not too late to come up with a video of your own and participate in this. Mine took just slightly over an hour to complete, if I win the grand prize, I think I’ll be buying myself an upgraded racquet 😀
For Indonesian readers: the prize includes return flights from Jakarta, Indonesia to Kuala Lumpur for two (2) people and gifts from Axiata and sponsors of Axiata Cup 2013 too.
Again, the prizes are (each comes with the VIP treatment):
Gold with cash prize of RM 5,000
Silver with cash prize of RM 3,000
Bronze with cash prize of RM 1,500
Here’s the more detailed instruction on how to join:

This is the Sepang International Circuit. Since 1999 it has been hosting the second leg of Formula 1 racing event, and always it is one of the more exciting venue on the calendar.
If you haven’t noticed yet, the Malaysian weather at this time around the year is a bit erratic. Thunderstorm and heavy shower can seemingly come out of nowhere especially during late afternoon, all of which makes for very exciting strategy and condition in racing. Skills, thrills, and plenty of drama.
The question is, wouldn’t you want to be there?
My pretty big and constantly growing bucket list includes attending an F1 and MotoGP event. I managed to cross MotoGP off the list last year (what an exciting race!), and this year I want to make it to F1!
So what if I told you, you can win a pair of Grand Stand tickets to this year’s Formula 1 Petronas Grand Prix? #morpheus
The awesome photo above is my entry to the competition, I did it before realizing that you can actually use the shaving cream to craft something on any surface, but since I looked pretty sweet there I decide to use it instead. What do you think? hehehe
In any case, I want to be part of the Formula 1 event, I can’t wait.
Submit your contest entry ASAP and best of luck to you!
And for the record, while it’s easy to support Red Bull Racing and I do like Sebastian Vettel, I’m there to root for Kimi Raikkonen and the Team Lotus. After all Lotus Elise is also in my bucket list. Mercedes AMG Petronas is also gets my support, because Petronas!
Axiata Cup is back! If you have been snoozing all these while, you’d know that this is the richest badminton championship in the world that showcases top talents from various countries.
Being a badminton fan myself, I think this is a positive development and certainly benefits our most beloved national sports. The cup offers USD $ 1,000,000 to the champion, and if I only started a bit younger… (after all Datuk Lee Chong Wei came from the same state as I do.. so.. )
While I (and many of you) might only be able to play badminton recreationally every week and stands no chance in winning that million buck prize money, there is something that we can still participate – Axiata Cup 2013’s “Up Your Game” Challenge!
What you do is very straight forward, simply showcase your passion for the game and upload a video and the most creative showmanship wins.
Check out my very short video below:
Pretty… unique and sweet isn’t it?
Well, it can basically be anything badminton related, with or without displaying skills. You can play badminton in the dark, smash the shuttle cock into the toilet bowl from 20 feet away, anything. Examples can be found on www.AxiataCup.tv. (this is also where you submit)
So put on your creative hat and start thinking, there are three winners in this contest.
Gold with cash prize of RM 5,000
Silver with cash prize of RM 3,000
Bronze with cash prize of RM 1,500
All three winners also exclusive VIP experience to attend the semi-final and finals of the event held in Kuala Lumpur on the 13th and 14th of April, 2013, (Good news for Indonesian readers: this Prize includes return flights from Jakarta, Indonesia to Kuala Lumpur for two (2) people for Indonesian winner!) and gifts from Axiata and sponsors of Axiata Cup 2013!
All submissions will be shortlisted and fans will get to vote for their favorite videos. And the video with highest voting points will be declared as the winner on the 9th of April 2013.
This contest opens from 18 February with submission closing by the 25th of March 2013. Upload your video at www.AxiataCup.tv!

Here are some of my favorite mornings – captured on film (well, SD card anyway). These are moments at the break of dawn that brought beautiful memories and those gives you and instant good feeling that it’s going to be a great day.
This was taken with the GoPro camera at Bali, we were heading to Nusa Penida. I did 3 dives and was privileged to have lovely encounters with magnificent sea creatures – two dives with mola-mola and another with manta rays. Glorious.
This photo was captured at Tioman island and represents the lifestyle at Salang Bay perfectly. The guy with the guitar is also our Dive Master, but also sings and hang out with divers and other guests at the beach. Perfect pre-briefing moment before the morning dive.
These are the three kitties at home, often waiting at the kitchen in the morning while I get ready for work (sometimes while making a cup of coffee to start the day). It’s a rare occasion to have them all lined up at the same frame. Always brighten up the day
These are the moments not to be rushed, moments to savor the world.
Which brings us to the message brought to you by Nescafe Gold – “Savoring The World” – a communal travel journal of experiences savored around Malaysia and the Globe.
The aim of the community is to have a collection of travel experiences and extraordinary moments.
How do you be a part of this? Simply head to apps.facebook.com/nescafe_gold and upload photo captions of the related theme. The winning photo and caption for the first theme “Start of the Day” gets a 3-day, 2-night holiday for 2 to Tanjung Jara Resort.
This is my entry for the competition, good luck to me! How do you like my caption by the way?
Head to apps.facebook.com/nescafe_gold and you too can be a part of this project and could very well be the lucky person to walk away with that 3D/2N Stay at Tanjong Jara resort.
