After reading that the cook had changed, I went there with my wife (this is her favourite CKT stall). I found it largely the same as the old uncle’s. If anything, it was missing that dash of pepper and was less oily. My wife, though, was extremely disappointed, so much that she didn’t finish her plate.

i only eat char kueh teow in malacca because mlaccan love adding TIAN JIANG[sauce or ketchup] that only get in here

have tried the lady’s CKT..
too bad i have to say.. it taste bad, bland, oily..
couldnt pass it at all….. :X
