kong sai is actually a province in china adjacent to kwong tung (Canton) and shares the border with vietnam. they have some unique dishes, which is the steamed chicken serves with special dip (each household have their own versions), the yam kow yuk (por & yam sandwiches), and others (kong sai yong taufu - not available in this restaurant). The full name of the restaurant is actually kong sai chai, probably indicating that the owner is from this province. try the chicken and the yam/pork dish next time. :)

their 3 most popular dishes are steamed chicken ( imo i love it cos of the ginger/garlic/soya sauce dip), curry 'pai kuat' (pork ribs?) and pork stomach soup. love love love :D
