Agree with Ryan on Taman Yulek, Cheras. Corner coffee shop. The char siew are very generous chunks, not slices. The lady and her husband make their own and can afford to give plenty. Very caramelised!

By the way other good wan tan mee stalls are :
1) in section 17, PJ where one has to wait for about half an hour. Operates from about 8.30 am and by 10.30 am sold out
2) the one in Taman Yulek, Cheras

Yes, the wan tan mee here is definitely one of the best in Pj /KL but once in a while the standard is not up to the mark. I have been patronising this stall for more than 30 years.

Ahhh, I usually find wantan mee in Penang not very good though. Must try this one when I go there again.
