Peugeot 307CC rear shot
I was at the Peugeot showroom the other day when one of my friends was booking a Naza Bestari (rebranded Peugeot 206) and saw this gorgeous black Peugeot 307CC.
Peugeot 307CC side view
Peugeot originally launched the 307CC (coupe-cabriolet) in 2003, the 4 seater vehicle comes with a folding hard roof and yet still offers a pretty respectable 204 liter boot space. The size of the car isn’t very big, however, total length of 4357mm and width of 1759mm is in fact shorter but wider than the familiar Proton Waja’s 4465mm and 1740mm. This gives the car a better stability with the wider wheelbase.
Interior of the Peugeot 307CC
Under the hood, the 307 runs the 2 liter EW10A engine with VVT system that churns out a decent 140 hp @ 6000rpm with maximum torque of 200 Nm coming at 4000rpm. The high revving engine is probably geared for sprited driving, should be fun with the Tiptronic transmission that comes standard.
seats 4 adults comfortably
Safety wise, the car comes with ABS, ASR (Anti-Skid Regulation), EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), EBA (Emergency Brake Assit), traction control, and 4 airbags. Pretty good for a car that is expected to cost an estimated RM 170k when it launhes next year, according to the sales person.
A very handsome ride that can actually sit 4 adults (unlike the 206cc with 2+2 configuration) at a decent selling price.
